Known as "Chicago's Front Yard," the 319-acre Grant Park hosts dozens of festivals and events every year.   • Are dogs allowed in Grant Park?

    Dogs are not allowed in Grant Park but are permitted in a designated off-leash area. The dog-friendly area encompasses 18,000 square feet and is located northwest of 9th Street in a service yard. This is a fenced area with drinking fountains for dogs. Owners must have a permit and tag for each off-leash dog, as well as clean-up bags.
  • Where can I park near Grant Park?

    Visitors will find several parking garages near the entrance of Grant Park. Reduced pre-purchased parking is available and advised when visiting the park during events. Valet garages and private parking spots are available within walking distance. Guests of the Silversmith Hotel can choose to walk to Grant Park, located less than a mile from the property
