Adler After Dark

This fun evening for adults 21 and over takes place every third Thursday of the month from 6-10pm. Enjoy music, cocktails, and an exclusive sneak peek of the planetarium after hours. Each month the entertainment is different, but you always get an unforgettable view of the skyline. Just get your tickets early, because the event almost always sells out.

Group Visits

Groups of school children, scouts, adults, and seniors are all welcome at Adler Planetarium. Just email [email protected] for more information and to arrange a guide.

  • Where can I park?

Public transportation is the easiest way to get here, but there are a number of garages and lots including one right next to the Planetarium. There is also a garage at Soldier Field, or there are metered spaces on the city streets.
  • Is there a place to eat?

Café Galileo’s is a great spot to enjoy a quick bite for breakfast or a hearty lunch of prepared foods, soups, salads, and sandwiches. While you dine, enjoy a great view of the Chicago skyline.
