Multiple Grammy-winning violinist Gil Shaham and renowned chamber ensemble The Knights have come to conquer the Harris Theater stage in Millennium Park with their take on works by Prokofiev, Beethoven and French baroque master Jean-Fery Rebel. Shaham, who's scored praise from audiences and critics alike for his warm tone, crystal-clear technique and engaging stage presence, is set to perform Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 on his famed 1699 Stradivarius, known as the Countess Polignac. Conducted by Eric Jacobsen, The Knights are a collective of composers, performers and arrangers, known for their commitment to creatively stretching the boundaries of classical music.
