Indulge in a delicious five-course beer-pairing dinner at House of Blues Chicago's Crossroads Restaurant. Each course is inspired by -- and matched with -- a fine beer from Colorado's Oskar Blues Brewery. The dinner begins with a reception course of beer-braised pork potato skins and Atlantic grouper ceviche, paired with Dale's Pale Ale. You'll move on to the starter, a smoked tiger shrimp salad topped with fried leek and mango champagne vinaigrette, accompanied by Mama's Little Yella Pils, a Czech Pilsener. The first entreé is a fried chicken and waffle cone with jalapeno maple aioli and Cajun slaw, matched up with G'Knight Imperial Red Ale. The second entrée, beer-braised brisket with smoked tomato beer BBQ sauce and scalloped potatoes, is paired with Old Chub Nitro Scotch Ale. Dessert, chocolate cherry bread pudding with whiskey beer sauce, is served with Ten Fidy Imperial Stout.
