Designed by the famous artist Anish Kapoor, this mirror-like object is commonly referred to as “The Bean” by locals. It’s a great photo opportunity because you can see your reflection in the sculpture with the Chicago skyline as the perfect backdrop.
This dramatic piece of public art combines video with interactive water features for a one-of-a-kind urban landmark. In the summer, you’ll find kids splashing around the fountain to cool down from the hot Chicago days.
Can you buy food, beer, or wine at the park?
You can stop into the Park Grill and Café for a meal, beer, or glass of wine. The Jay Pritzker Pavilion also has a concession stand selling snacks and food along with local beer and wines that can only be consumed in the seating area and the Great Lawn during the concerts
