This stadium was officially opened on October 9, 1924 and underwent a major renovation completed in 2003. Soldier Field Chicago is situated on Lake Shore Drive next to the famous Museum Campus. This renovated, state-of-the-art facility has a seating capacity of 61,500 and is home to the Chicago Bears, numerous Chicago special events and large-scale tournaments and Chicago sporting events.

Visitors also have the opportunity to take a 45-minute guided tour of the stadium on Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The tour costs $15 per adult; $10 per student 12 years or older; $7 per senior citizen; $4 per child 12 years and younger; and children under 3 are free.
