The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The staff is great, the location perfect. You walk out of the door into the wonderful shopping, museum and park activities. The hotel restaurant served great breakfast. I would recommend. The train is right outside of the hotel but the noise although there was not a problem.

How pleased I was when I saw the location of the hotel upon arrival. Not being familiar with the Chicago area, I had no idea of the excellent location. Everything I needed was within the immediate area! The hotel is well maintained and I was super pleased with the room , amenities, and the personnel's helpfulness and accomodating attitudes. Wanted to go back 1 week after returning to continue the experience and go shopping at the wonderful stores just a hop, skip, and jump away. Will definitely be back!!!!

My friend and I were searching for a place to stay that was in the heart of it all - within walking distance to Millieium Park, shops and places to eat. We found The Silversmith! It was extremely clean...the people working are very nice and willing to make your stay pleasant, restful and worry free! oh and the price was not so high that it broke our bank account...we loved it and are looking forward to coming back again and again - Thank you Silversmith - you are the best!

What an amazing staff and management! From the moment the door was opened for us and we were welcomed to the hotel, the entire staff was very hospitable and courteous. This was a romantic Valentine's Day getaway for my boyfriend and me. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised at our arrival when we received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. As an airline crew member, I stay at many hotels and I was truly impressed with the accommodations and amenities provided by the hotel staff. We will definitely return in the very near future as well as highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone staying in the Chicago area. Our thanks to the entire staff and management for such a memorable stay!
